Painting is nothing else but the inter sensual compound of light,
scent, and sound.
Dust flickering in oblique sunbeams of afternoon sun, the
scent of wooden stairs in staircase of tenement house embellished in fine lace like an old lady, the sound of a fly fatigued by heat.
Neither shape nor colour is painting.
